Prayer Calendar

PRAYER CALENDAR

And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints. Ephesians 6:18

Following are the names of the missionaries and mission groups our congregation supports and the names of various people and organizations within our church family. Please use this calendar as a guideline to help you pray for the needs of our church from day to day.

1 Rev. John Leung lives in Sugarland, TX.  He is with the Navigators.  John prints, e-mails, FAXs newsletters to Hong Kong & mainland China.  Also travels to Mainland China to do discipleship preaching  and equipping new servants in the ministry.

 

2 Rev. Rowland and Judy VanEs in Tainan, Taiwan.  Rowland teaches at Tainan Theological College and Seminary; Judy teaches English at a local school.

 

3 Jay Harsevoort with ministries in the U.S.A.

 

4 Pastor Steve and Brenda Bakker and family.

Pastor Dave and Lisa Kingma.

 

5 Gail Beran, who teaches English in Tokyo, Japan.

Rev. Abraham and Rev. Sayuri Kist-Okazaki, who are missionary evangelists in Japan.

 

6 Rev. Peter and Patty Ford in Ethiopia.  Peter will be working on establishing a program in Christian-Muslim relations at Mekane Yesus Theological Seminary in Addis Ababa.

 

7 Neal and Carol Raetz, New Tribes missionaries in Sanford, Florida.  Neal does bookkeeping and consulting; Carol serves as a receptionist and secretary.

 

 

8 Dave and Deb Eernisse, working for Wycliffe Bible Translators at the North Central Regional Office in West Chicago, Illinois.

 

9 Meadowbrook Church, new church start in Madison & Rev. Trev Kimball.

 

10 Kettle Moraine, Taycheedah & Sheb. Co. prison ministry: for the inmates and the volunteers.  Bethany Christian Services and their work with families.

 

11 Jackson County Ministries, based in Annville, Kentucky: providing service and evangelism to the residents of the wider Appalachian region.

 

12 Rev. James and Sharon Heneveld,

our missionaries in Chiapas, Mexico, who work on leadership development and the preparation of training materials with local churches.

 

13 La Iglesia de la Trinidad (The Church of the Trinity) and Pastor Madeline Fuentez, working in the inner city of Milwaukee.

 

14 Bob and Debbie Clark, working with graduate students and staff for InterVarsity Christian Fellowship in Lawrence, Kansas.

 

15 Pastor Paul and Mary Jane Van Loon.

 

16 Hope Reformed Church in West Bend, Wisconsin.

17 Ken and Lisa Wilson at Camp of the Woods in Ontario, Canada.  They work especially with children and teens; Ken is a pilot.

 

18 Jim and Beth Harrison in Estonia (a republic in the former Soviet Union.)  They work with Estonian church leaders in training national pastors and re-opening closed churches.

 

19 Words of Hope, a worldwide radio ministry.

WJUB and WVCY, Christian radio and TV ministries.

 

20 Rev. Tom and Norine Katsma, who have a church planting ministry at the Valley Life Community Church in Boise, Idaho.

 

21 Julie Ver Velde, Director of Music Ministries.  The music ministry of our church:  the choirs, directors, singers and instrumentalists.

 

22 Mary Lynn Ten Haken, secretary. Don Heideman, custodian.

 

23 The youth of our church.  The Senior & Junior Youth groups and sponsors:

Brian and Faith Mentink, Kevin & Jessica  Dekker,  Josh Neeb, Dan and Sue Kappers, Greg and Melissa Kanz.

 

24 The Campus Life youth ministry in Sheboygan.

 

25 The consistory of the Hingham Reformed Church: for wisdom, unity and vision.

The Task Forces that assist the consistory in the work of the church.

 

26 Audio Scripture Ministries (formerly Portable Recording Ministries) and Gideons International:  both groups bring God’s Word to many.

 

27 The teachers and students in our various educational programs:  Sunday School, Bible Class, Vacation Bible School.

 

28 The professors and students at our RCA colleges and seminaries:  Northwestern, Central and Hope Colleges; Western and New Brunswick Seminaries. 

 

29 The young adults of our congregation who are in college or military service.

 

30 Other organizations within our congregation:  HWM & the various Bible studies that meet in homes.

 

31 Pray for our nursing home residents.
